DX150 CrossOver® Straight-Clamp Pliers

The DX150 parallel-jaw vise incorporates several features from the widely accepted D688, D150, and 3600V models, while delivering superior performance across all key operating parameters compared with the D688 and D150. It is particularly well suited for applications that demand higher levels of flatness and parallelism. This model is one of the most commonly used vise products on the market.

The improved hydraulic crimping tool can achieve either spring-assisted single-action return or hydraulic bi-directional return—simply by replacing the copper fitting with the included hydraulic fitting.

Single-action: hydraulic clamping with spring return; precision release in both directions: hydraulic clamping and return, with higher precision.

DX150H/DX6HR

The improved hydraulic clamp can achieve either spring-assisted single-action return or hydraulic bi-directional return and is equipped with hydraulic pipe fittings.

The hydraulic ports on the clamp are 1/8-inch NPT female threads.

It also includes two connecting fittings: 1/8 NPT male thread to #4 JIC male thread.

DX150 CrossOver® Straight-Clamp Pliers: Functions and Features

This vise combines the features of “angle-lock,” “pull-type,” and “tightening-and-fixing” vises:
- “Corner clamp” enables free stress decomposition and generates downward pressure to reduce jaw lift.
- “Pull-type” design reduces deformation of the clamp body under load, thereby improving accuracy.
- The “clamping fixture” has been widened and secured with four clamping screws, further enhancing its precision.
Both the clamp body guide rails and the jaws are hardened.
The lead screw is made of hardened steel.
The clamp body, moving jaw, and lead nut are all made of high-strength ductile cast iron.
The opening degree reaches 230.6 mm.
The clamp dimensions are widened and secured by four tightening screws.
Can be directly bolted to 40 mm, 50 mm, or 2-inch base plate surfaces.
Sine key available as an option (not included).
Weight: 30 kg.
The straight-through chip evacuation groove facilitates cleaning.
The lead screw support is secured by a circlip.
Standard configuration includes slotted jaws and a workpiece positioning block.
The sealing brush clamp is easy to replace, disassemble, and clean.

Comparison of the DX150 Model with the D688 and D150 Models

The DX150 can fully replace the D688 and D150.
The opening degree has increased (230.63 mm instead of 224.60 mm).
The clamp body height is exactly the same as that of the D688 and D150.
The vise body is narrowed to allow more vises to be arranged side by side on a limited machine tool work surface.
Enhanced bearings extend service life.
The distance between the keyway and the fixed jaw is the same as that of D688.
The height tolerance of the clamp body is controlled to ±0.0127 mm for grouped use.
